Wholehearted, dynamic songwriter Dan Godlin—originally hailing from Boston—is based in NYC, where he writes and produces for recording artists across pop, rock, folk, country, and EDM genres.
After graduating with honors from New York University in 2012, Godlin quickly made a name for himself as a budding artist, becoming the opening act for Howie Day, Ryan Cabrera, Tyler Hilton, Anna Nalick, Tony Lucca, and O-Town, while also performing industry showcases alongside notable acts including Lenny Kravitz, Michael Franti, Colbie Caillat, Matt Nathanson, Plain White T's, Matthew Morrison, Parachute, Jason Reeves, Hanson, Marc Broussard, and Mat Kearney.
Dan's music has been featured on multiple television shows and films including Love Is Blind (Netflix), Major Crimes (TNT), Keeping Up with the Kardashians (E!), The Challenge (MTV), The Vineyard (ABC Family), Degrassi (Nickelodeon), Winter Wedding (Lifetime), Suicide Note (Lifetime), and Women Who Flirt (Hong Kong), as well as on radio stations in the U.S. and Canada.
As an actor, Godlin has appeared in notable television productions including The Plot Against America (HBO), Blue Bloods (CBS), and New Amsterdam (NBC), as well as feature films G.B.F. and Odd Man Rush, and several music videos. His commercial work includes a Super Bowl spot alongside Joe Namath and national campaigns for Sprint, Burlington, Arm & Hammer, and Uber Eats. He has also appeared in print campaigns for Budweiser, UPS, and Axe.
When Dan is not working as a well-rounded songwriter, producer, musician, vocalist, and actor, he leads a boutique college admissions consulting firm, mentoring students toward admission to top universities. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, jogging, cooking, meditating, listening to audiobooks, and having deep, inspiring conversations with friends.
